Lululemon Athletica shares gained 1% in premarket trade after raising the lower end of guidance for both its earnings and revenues for Q4 of fiscal year 2016, citing a strong holiday season.
Diluted EPS is now expected to be in the range of $0.99 to $1.01 compared to the previous range between $0.96 and $1.01. Revenues are now estimated to be $775 million to $785 million versus the original forecast of $765 million to $785 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are expecting EPS of $1.00 and revenue of $782.2 million.
Commenting on the changes, CEO Laurent Potdevin said: “We had a strong holiday season in both our store and digital channels driven by our assortment, operational execution and guest experience.”
